Muse, Black Eyed Peas, La Roux Thrill At T In The Park 2010

Muse, Black Eyed Peas and Editors were among the acts who performed on day one of this year’s T In The Park festival.

The opening day of the Scottish event also featured performances from Hot Chip, La Roux and Florence & The Machine.

After rain was forecast, conditions on site at Balado Park were mostly dry on Friday (July 9).

But a Met Office spokeswoman told Gigwise festival-goers should expect more showers today (July 10), with a drier day forecast on Sunday (July 11).

Other acts on day one at Balado Park, Kinross included Paloma Faith, Jamie T and The Big Pink.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old festival-goer died on Friday night.

According to the Press Association, attempts were made to resuscitate the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

T In The Park continues today with a headline performance from Eminem.
