Roxy Music became the last ever band to perform on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on BBC 1 tonight (July 16).
The group, who appeared at the request of the broadcaster, played their hits ‘Virginia Plain’ and ‘Love Is The Drug’.
After their performance, Ross, who is leaving the BBC after 13 years, gave an emotional speech.
Fighting back the tears, he paid tribute to his colleagues and called his experience at the BBC a “blessed one”.
He also told viewers that “we wouldn’t have show without you watching”.
David Beckham and Hollywood actors Mickey Rourke and Jackie Chan were also guests on the show.

- Can't believe we're not going to have any Wossy on TV or Radio, and they think Graham Norton is an adequate stand in?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Sad sad sad BBC, so stupid.
- It's a travesty that the BBC has let Wossy go. That show was so strong tonight and demonstrated just why he should stay.
- Tonight's show was AMAZING. Roxy Music rocked it and Jonathan was on Fire. And OMG Becks!!!
- can't believe no more jonnathan ross, what a legend,
At least he went out on a hgh with a great show especialy Beck, but also jackie chan was quite good
It's the end of one of the greatest eras ever, don't know what i'll do on friday now
so sad
