A graphic designer has built his own replica of the helmet worn by Daft Pink’s Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo.

Harrison Krix, 27, spent seventeen months constructing the gold helmet, which is complete with flashing LED lights, from scratch.

The designer logged the whole construction process - and you can watch a video below now.

“During the course of this project, it has become remarkably apparent to me as to why the real helmets fetch a $64,000 price,” Krix said on his website.

“This stuff is intricate, finicky, and expensive.”

The designer added that he had made the “one-off” helmet for a private customer and had no intention to make any duplicates.
