Your Favourite New Band: Morning Parade

Listen to the opening seconds of 'Youth' and you could be forgiven for writing off Morning Parade as a band who sound like they're just desperate to bring back early-90s house music.

Do that though and you'll be sorry, because what unfolds is arguably one of the most uplifting songs of 2010.

Hailing from Essex, Morning Parade are a five-piece dance-rock crossover whose piano-led anthems look tailor-made for big things. If 'Youth' doesn't rock your neon socks off, 'Marble Attic' and 'A&E' come packed with more energy than a protein shake. It's no surprise Parlophone have snapped them up.
