Kanye West: 'I Set Up Twitter Beacuse I Didn't Want To Do Interviews'

Kanye West has claimed that he set up his Twitter account because journalists were not representing him correctly in magazines and newspapers.

Speaking to US radio show Hot 97 West said, ""I got to the point where I didn't even wanna do interviews anymore because I would have the interview and we'd be laughing, me and the reporter, and that's funny, and then you read it and they completely just demolished all of my jokes."

Kanye now feels that Twitter allows him to communicate his points in a clearer way claiming, "Now I can communicate just in a sound bite and give people a glimpse of everything. It's good."

As reported yesterday, Kanye West is set to perform at this years MTV VMA's after being invited to the ceremony by organisers.
