Warpaint have admitted that they are trying not think about peoples' expectations about their debut album.
The Los Angeles all-girl quartet are due to release 'The Fool', which has been produced by Tom Biller, next month.
The group, who formed back in 2004, have gained huge attention since they signed to Rough Trade at the end of 2009.
They were also among the performers at last weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals.
Vocalist and guitarist Theresa Wayman told Gigwise they managed to block out any distractions during the recording process.
“I don't think we thought about it a single bit while we were recording it at all, and that felt good because we were totally isolated from knowing what was going on outside our bubble,” she said.
But Wayman acknowledged that “things have changed a lot in the last six months”.
Drummer Stella Mozgawa, who joined the band earlier this year, added that thinking about the pressure would probably “drive us insane”.

'The Fool' is released on October 25. Warpaint will embark on a UK tour in October.
