BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles has launched an on-air attack against the BBC, during which he claimed he had not been paid since July.
Moyles, 36, made the comments during the opening minutes of his Breakfast show this morning (September 22).

During the tirade, he accused the BBC of showing a “huge lack of respect” and called the individual responsible for not paying him a “moronic div”.
"I'm very, very angry, very, very angry at being put into this position,” he told listeners.
“I can't tell you how furious I am. I haven't been paid since the end of July and no one cares about it. No one's bothered."
He also claimed he had considered not turning up for work today.

Moyles recently signed a new one-year contract to continue presenting the Breakfast show and claimed his not getting paid was due to an administrative error.
The DJ, who has a reputation for being outspoken, took over the high-profile morning slot in 2004 from Sara Cox.
- I am going to rest easy tonight knowing that my TV License money hasn't been going to chris moyles
- Fair play to Moyles. He is a f*%king legend. Awesome show, I love his chat club with dave and dom in the mornings, its what we all do at work, they just have microphones! Just pay him, and keep him on air. He says what we all think.
- Chirs Moyels is a legend and he carries radio 1, he is the main reason I love radio 1, he deserves to be paid at the very least
- Sorry, it was my fault.
- thank god the bbc is using some good thinking
