Aerosmith's Steven Tyler To Release Solo Single On American Idol

Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler has announced details about a new solo single.

The track, entitled '(It) Feels So Good', will be released on May 9 as a digital download. A video for the song will debut on American Idol, on which Tyler is one of the judges.

Gbillboard reports that the track was written by Tyler and long-time collaborator Marti Frederiksen and recorded in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Tyler has again spoken about his audition with Led Zeppelin.

In 2008, the singer was one of a number of musicians who sang for Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham when they were looking for a frontman to replace Robert Plant.
