Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and My Chemical Romance have praised Bob Dylan as the singer celebrates his 70th birthday today (May 24).
Dylan, who was born in Minnesota in 1941, is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of all time.
Speaking to the Sun, Slash said: “I've played with some of the greats but Bob Dylan is one of the greatest without a doubt.”
My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way said: “It was an honour to cover Dylan's 'Desolation Row' for the Watchmen soundtrack. He's an inspiration to a lot of people.”
King Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill has also described Dylan as a “huge hero”.
