Bryan Ferry Named CBE In Queen's Birthday Honours List

Bryan Ferry has been made a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

The Roxy Music frontman was one of a number of high profile stars bestowed with an honour.

"I would like to thank those who have given me the award, and all the musicians and others behind the scenes who have helped me throughout my career,” Ferry said.

Veteran entertainer Bruce Forsyth was given a Knighthood, while actor Colin Firth was also made a CBE.

Tim Brooke-Taylor, cricketer Andrew Strauss and Sam Taylor Wood, who directed the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy, were also made OBEs.
