Kate Moss Tried To Stop Afghanistan-Bound Military Planes Flying Over Her Wedding

Kate Moss tried to stop military planes flying over her wedding and reception last weekend, it has been reported.

The supermodel married The Kills' Jamie Hince in front of a celebrity-filled crowd at the supermodel's home in the Cotswolds on Friday (July 1).

It has now emerged that Moss asked RAF chiefs at the base near her home to divert or postpone military planes bound for Afghanistan from flying over her wedding but was refused.

A source told The Sun: ''RAF Brize Norton is a fully operational wartime air base. Flights from the base carry troops and vital equipment directly to Afghanistan.''

Adding: "These flights are absolutely crucial. The idea that the top military brass would put these flights on hold or change their routes just to give a celeb some peace on their wedding day is absolutely inconceivable."

The couple are now sailing the Mediterranean in the 10 million pound yacht owned by Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green.
