Noel Gallagher will release a 'lost' Oasis track on his forthcoming debut solo album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds'.
The former Oasis guitarist announced at a press conference in London (July 6) that he will release his first self-titled project under the name Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on October 17.
'Stop The Clocks' appears on the tracklist for the new album, which was originally meant to appear on Oasis' 2004 album 'Don't Believe The Truth'.
Speaking about the track in a previous interview with The Sun, Gallagher said: “There are about ten different versions and I can’t decide on which one. It’s a good song, the lyrics are great."
Former Oasis member Andy Bell added: ''It is an amazing tune. It has quite a heavy theme to it and we’ve had a few goes at it. We’ll get it right one day.”
Noel Gallagher's 'High Flying Birds' is released on October 17 – and is the first of two albums the singer has completed.
