Rebecca Black Quits School Over 'Friday' Bullying

Rebecca Black has been forced to quit school after she was bullied over her song, 'Friday'.

The 13-year-old singer was taunted by her classmates after the song became a viral sensation on YouTube earlier this year.

In an interview with ABC, Black said Friday has become her least favourite day of the week and that her mother has now insisted that she is home-schooled.

Classmates of Black taunted her by asking her what day it was and singing the tune, she revealed./

"It's hard to go to school when you are so famous and to have kids constantly making fun of what's going on," Black said.

But she added that she had learned to not “let it get to you”.
