George Michael covered Amy Winehouse's 'Love Is A Losing Game' as he kicked off his European tour in Prague last night (August 22).
The former Wham! singer paid tribute to Winehouse, who died last month, before launching into the cover.
“In 30 years of making music, I've never been in as much awe of anyone who has come along on the British scene,” he said.
“The fact that we won't be hearing any more from her is beyond words.”
As Michael sang the song, which you can watch below, images of Winehouse were projected onto a video screen at the back of the stage.

Shortly after Winehouse's death, Michael described her as “the most soulful vocalist this country has ever seen”.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Michael also told the audience at the State Opera House last night that he had split with boyfriend Kenny Goss.
He said the pair hadn't been together for two and a half years, despite earlier this year denying reports they had broken up.
The concert marked the start of Michael's European tour, which is seeing him re-work some of his biggest hits with string arrangements as well as performing covers.
