Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh is to replace Amanda Holden's role in Shrek the Musical after the actress fell pregnant.
Walsh had been due to take up the role of Princess Fiona in December but Holden announced today (August 24) that she would be leaving the show on October 3.
The musical opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in June and is based on the 2001 film.
Holden's pregnancy comes just months after she lost a baby boy when seven months pregnant.
Shrek will mark Walsh's first role on the West End stage since her cameo in Les Miserables in 2008.
Meanwhile, Girls Aloud are set to reform to mark their 10th anniversary next year.
