Katy Perry, Chris Brown Congratulate Pregnant Beyonce And Jay-Z

Katy Perry and Chris Brown are among the music stars who have congratulated Beyonce and Jay-Z, who are expecting their first baby together.

Beyonce surprised fans when she announced she was pregnant at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 28).

Music stars have been congratulating the pair, who married in 2008, on Twitter.

Katy Perry wrote: “Me & @rustyrockets (Russell Brand) are avail to baby sit anytime! We’z real responsible…ish :P #HIPHOPBAB”

“Congrats on the baby B and Jay,” Chris Brown said.

Pink wrote on Twitter: “What an adorable way to announce a baby:) congratulations beyonce and jay z! Get your sleep now.”

Beyonce unveiled she was pregnant at the end of her performance of ‘Love On Top’ at the VMAs. The moment delighted Jay-Z, who was sitting in the audience alongside Kanye West and Lady Gaga.

It is not yet known whether the couple are expecting a boy or a girl, although reports suggest they are hoping for a boy.
