Drake has distanced himself from the reported feud between Lil' Wayne and Jay-Z.
The rapper features on Lil' Wayne's 'It's Good', which sees Wayne rap about threatening to kidnap Jay-Z's wife Beyonce.
It was apparently written in response to Jay-Z quip about the hip-hop star on his and Kanye West's song, 'H.A.M'.
Speaking to MTV, Drake said he had nothing to do with the apparent feud.
"I just got a beat and did a verse over it," he said. "Whatever any other individual has to say, you have to ask the man himself. I just did what I know how to do.
“I just got on a record. I heard the beat, did a verse and heard the final product...At the end of the day, rap is an individual art. You express yourself and whatever you wanna say, you say it, so I guess that's a question for Wayne more than me."
Lil' Wayne has since played down the lyric, saying he knows “ there won't be any repercussions behind what I did”.
'Tha Carter IV' is out now.
