Simon Cowell: I Didn't Call Lady Gaga, Katy Perry And Beyonce Boring

Simon Cowell has denied calling Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Katy Perry “boring”.

The X Factor mogul was alleged to have made the comment during an interview with the Daily Mirror.

"If you only ever heard Lady GaGa, she's the most boring singer in the world,” he was quoted as saying. “You've got to see her - you need TV. Same with Beyoncé. Or Katy Perry. We're all about image."

But a spokesperson for Cowell has now denied that he made the remark.

The representative said: "It's the complete opposite in fact. Simon is a massive fan of both and he always refers to them as amongst the artists he most admires.

“He thinks they are the most interesting, talented and relevant artists today."

Cowell is currently appearing as a judge on X Factor USA, which began earlier this month.
