The Stone Roses' Manchester reunion shows at Heaton Park have become the fastest selling rock gigs in UK history after all three nights sold-out.
The band, who announced their reunion at a press conference on Tuesday (October 18) originally planned to play two hometown shows at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 29 and 30, as well as going on an extensive world tour.
Due to phenomenal demand for tickets after they went on sale this morning (October 21) an additional date was added for Sunday June 31.
220,000 tickets sold in 68 minutes with the first two nights selling out in 14 minutes.
Original members - frontman Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani and drummer Reni - revealed that they have already started rehearsing for the tour, which won't get underway until the summer of 2012.
Speaking at the conference Brown said: ''Our plan is to shake up the world. We're gonna go around the world next year. We're going to start off in Manchester and play two big gigs. This is not a trip down memory lane, we are doing new songs.''
