Warner Bros have announced plans to shelve DVDs of the Harry Potter franchise.
Deadline reports that the company will stop shipping Potter titles to shops from December 29.
This move is being reported as an attempt to drive up sales of the eight films by encouraging people to buy the DVDs before they are no longer available.

Disney has released titles such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, Fantasia and The Lion King in this way since 2001.
Harry Potter has earned Warner Bros over $12.1 billion since the 2001 release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
