Lil Wayne has revealed that he plans to retire from music at the age of 35.
The 29 year-old rapper had previously suggested that he would call it a day sometime during his early 30s, but now the hip-hop star seems final on his decision.
“Basically, I have been doing this for 18 years, that's reason number one. I have accomplished all that I have set out to accomplish and more,” Lil Wayne told GQ.
He added: “Six years I can do this Lil Wayne thing, and my boys will be about 7 and 8 years old. And man, it's all about them then. Whatever they're into,” said the father of four.''
But the singer won't be too far out of the game though, planning to focus all attention on his Young Money record label, which has unearthed upcoming talent such as Nicki Minaj and Drake in recent years.
Lil Wayne recently released his latest album 'Tha Carter IV', which sold 964,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week.
