Madchester legends the Stone Roses have announced they'll be headlining Spanish festival Benicassim during summer 2012.
Previous to this announcement, the band had just revealed with details of two reunion shows - Manchester’s Heaton Park. But this gig could not be more different to those, with Ian Brown, Mani and co swapping the Northern drizzle for the Spanish sunshine.
The festival will take place between 12-15 July 2012 on the East Coast of Spain, near the cities of Valencia and Barcelona. Tickets are on sale now, with additional to be announced over the coming months.
The Stone Roses announced their reformation just last month, having parted ways back in 1996.
