Kelly Osbourne Apologises For Transexual Rant

Kelly Osbourne has apologised for her offensive comments towards the transgender community.

Osbourne made remarks bout her ex-fiance Luke Worrall and transgender model Elle Schneider.

Kelly broke off her engagement to Luke Worrall in 2010 after she found out about his fling with Elle Schneider, who is awaiting gender reassignment surgery.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, Osbourne said: "Having to tell my parents my ex-fiancé Luke had cheated on me with a tranny was so humiliating.

"Everyone kept telling me that Luke was cheating on me, but I never believed them. It's hard enough to get your head around someone cheating on you... but when when someone is a chick with a d*ck?

"I'd always thought the worst way to get cheated on would be with an ugly girl."

The singer has since come under fire from the LGBT community and has now issued an apology to GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

She said: 'As a lifelong LGBT ally and friend, I feel it is my duty to not only apologize for my wrong but to also correct it.'

Adding: 'The word tr*nny is a derogatory and hurtful word. I was completely ignorant to this and soon came to realize most of my peers and LGBT friends are too. This is a word I will no longer use or allow.
