Katy Perry Slams Russell Brand Divorce Rumours

Katy Perry has denied rumours that she is set to file for divorce from husband Russell Brand.

Online reports have been circulating today (November 30) that the pair are heading for a divorce following months of speculation.

Katy Perry took to Twitter to slam the rumours, she wrote: Perry writes, "First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I All My Children?! Erica Kane... pshhh... If I had a dollar for every time..."

Perry recently admitted that she was keen to start a family one day, but for the moment was happy being young and having fun: 'I would love to have children. That's one of the reasons you get married,' she told The Insider.

'[But] I still love drinking alcohol so not yet.'

The couple, who met back in 2009, tied the knot at the Aman-e-Khas luxury resort near the Ranthambhore.

Perry and Brand began dating shortly after the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009, which the comedian hosted., it has been reported.
