Jamaican Dancehall Star Vybz Kartel Offered $3 Million Prison Bail

Jamaican Dancehall star Vybz Kartel has been offered a $3 million bail, it has been reported.

Reports emerged earlier this week that Vybz Kartel had escaped from a prison in Jamaica after holding an officer at gun point, which later turned out to be a hoax.

According to TaleTela the Dancehall artist fled the Horizon Adult Remand Centre last night (November 29), making it Jamaica's biggest prison escape ever.

Vybz Kartel was charged with with murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm back in October. If his bail is paid Kartel is one step closer to leaving prison, reports MTV.

Kartel has worked on collaborations and remixes with the likes of Jay-Z, Rihanna and MIA.
