Amy Winehouse Biopic Is 'Inevitable', Says Former Boyfriend Reg Traviss

Amy Winehouse’s former boyfriend Reg Traviss has said that he thinks it is ‘inevitable’ that a film of the late singer’s life will be made.

The film director revealed that he has already been asked to helm a film but has declined.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror he said: "I guess a biopic is inevitable. I have been asked but I honestly don't think I could do it. I'd be too close to it.

"But whoever does write and direct the film may ¬exaggerate certain points to make it more 'Hollywood'. The family would want to be involved to make sure that it's done justice. But right now it's all too raw."

Traviss also spoke about how he’s coping after Winehouse’s death: "I'm taking each day as it comes.

"I feel I'm living a horrible daydream that I just want to snap out of, but can't."

Amy Winehouse’s first posthumous album ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’ will be released tomorrow (December 5).

The album features 12 tracks recorded by the late singer in various stages of her life handpicked by her producer friends Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi.

Lioness: Hidden Treasures has also received backing of Winehouse's parents Mitch and Janis.

£1 from every sale of 'Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures' will be donated to her foundation.
