Drummer Roger Taylor has revealed that the band are currently in talks with the singer to join them on a live tour, reports Billboard.
''He has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that's great. We would like to work with him again. There's nothing signed just yet but we're talking about live dates. It could be very exciting, Taylor said.''
The band were said to have been impressed with Lambert after he performed The Show Must Go On' and 'We Are The Champions' at the MTV European Music Awards with Queen last month (November 6).
Meanwhile, the Queen biopic starring Sacha Baron Cohen will be called Mercury.
The Bruno star had been confirmed to play frontman Freddie Mercury, but the title of the film had been the subject of much debate.
