Jay-Z And Beyonce To Film Music Video In Space?

Jay-Z and Beyonce are set to film their next collaborative video together in space, it has been reported.

The couple have been inquiring about filming on one Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic craft.

Seats on the six-seater ship reportedly will cost £780,000 each and take passengers 70,000ft into Earth's atmosphere.

A source said: "The label people have been talking about making a music video in space. Beyonce and Jay-Z seemed the obvious option. Everything is being done to make it happen."

The couple released a statement yesterday (January 9) following the birth of their daughter: ''We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.''

They added: "Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."

Reportedly the couple rented out the entire fourth floor for the event, spending a total of $1.3 million whilst all cameras in the hospital were covered and staff were required to hand over their mobile devices.

Celebrity friends of the couple have taken to Twitter to congratulate Beyonce and Jay-Z with Rihanna and Russell Simmons being the first off the mark:

Russell posted: "Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z." While, Rihanna posted to fans: "Welcome to the world princess Carter. Love Aunty Rih."
