No Age have accused Kings Of Leon of copying t-shirt designs on their blog.

The punk band hit out after discovering Kings of Leon merchandise looked a little more than familiar, branding the band “the kings of originality” before adding a dry drop of sarcasm “looking good”.

While there are obvious similarities between the two shirts, there always will be with merchandise with a bands name on.

Concurring with the No Age claims, SPIN has cited that the band first started selling their version of the t-shirt in 2007, while Kings of Leon starting offering it for sale in 2009.

Both bands finished extensive world tours at the end of last year after releasing albums and have been fairly quiet ever since, including the Tweet happy Kings of Leon who have yet to rise to the claims.
