The surviving cast of Monty Python are set to reunite for new movie, it has been confirmed.
The animated sci-fi film called Absolutely Anything, that will feature voice work from John Cleese, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam also involved.
It has also been revealed that Robin Williams has signed on to voice an intelligent talking dog named Dennis, according to Variety.
Director Terry Jones said: "It"s not a Monty Python picture, but it certainly has that sensibility."
The movie sees a group of aliens grant a human being with immense power, leading to chaos. Mike Medavoy will head up the CGI project.
Medavoy said: "Terry and Gavin have crafted a classic farce - something I feel I know a little more about after all the Pink Panther pictures we did with Blake Edwards at United Artists. In fact, the movie even has a pompous French man reminiscent of Inspector Clouseau - but there the similarity ends. Like all projects originated by any of the Monty Python guys, Absolutely Anything delightfully defies a logline."
Meanwhile, Terry Jones has admitted that The Life of Brian could be made today.
The Monty Python star believes that a "resurgence in religious belief" would have prevented the movie, made in 1980 about a man being mistaken for Jesus Christ, being greenlighted had it been pitched in the current climate.
He told the Radio Times: "I never thought it would be as controversial as it turned out, although I remember saying when we were writing it that some religious nut case may take pot shots at us, and everyone replied 'no'. I took the view it wasn’t blasphemous.
