Plan B's directorial debut 'iLL Manors' has shocked a number of critics.
The movie is said to feature Pimping, drug abuse, child killing, shooting, gangland bullying, theft and child trafficking, reports The Sun.
One critic said: "Really harrowing, gross stuff. Before I went, I'd assumed that if you'd seen one grime musical based in east London, you'd see them all.
"Turns out I was wrong, because iLL Manors — even in what the PR assured me was an 'unfinished state' — is frequently horrific.
"Ben Drew's debut as a director isn't half bad.
"I mean, it put me off my food and I couldn't look anybody in the eye for a few days afterwards, but I learnt some important lessons from iLL Manors. I am going to do whatever I can not to lose a pimp's phone, take part in the botched murder of a notorious gangland figure or sell any babies that I find on trains."
Earlier this week Plan B also announced details of his new album.
The album entitled ‘ill Manors’ will be Plan B’s fourth studio album to follow-up his massively successful predecessor ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’ which earned the rapper a Brit Award.
Speaking of his upcoming release, Plan B said "You could call 'iLL Manors' "bass-line, soul, hip-hop." The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead as it's informed by everything I've learnt in the last five years - writing, producing and playing with a live band. I feel I'm better than I've ever been."
