Adele has shifted the most sales of any UK artists across the world throughout 2011.
The singer's second album 21 sold more than 14.5 million copies last year, beating off competition from Coldplay. Reports Music Week.
The band's latest effort Mylo Xyloto shifted 3.2m copies, while Adele's debut album 19 took third place with sales of 2.3m.
Other entries included Mumford & Sons' 2009 debut LP Sigh No More with sales 1.4m, while Amy Winehouse's posthumous album 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' is at five.
