Noel Gallagher Would Become X Factor Judge For £1 Million

Noel Gallagher has revealed that ITV would have to pay him £1 million for him to appear as a judge on the X Factor.

The singer, who concluded his UK tour this week, was approached to take Simon Cowell's place on the judging panel last year.

In an interview with the Radio Times, Gallagher said: "It's about six months' work, innit? I reckon it would have to be a million pounds after tax.

"I say that tongue-in-cheek. I don't really want to do it. But a million pounds for six months' work? That's good money if you can get it. Even I don't earn that much."

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher, Florence And The Machine and The Vaccines have been added to the line-up for this year's T In The Park festival.

The Scottish event, which is set to take place from July 6-8 in Balado Park, Kinross, will be headlined by The Stone Roses.

Other additions to the bill include The Vaccines, The Maccabees, The Horrors, Miles Kane, Maverick Sabre, Frank Turner and Two Door Cinema Club.
