Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced the support acts for their forthcoming UK tour.

Dizzee Rascal will support the band at their forthcoming Knebworth show along with Reverend & The Makers

As previously announced the band will play the massive open air concert at Knebworth Park, Stevenage on June 23, as Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Sunday, June 24 and Dublin's Croke Park on June 26.

These three shows will be the only opportunity for UK fans to see Red Hot Chili Peppers live in concert in this country in 2012 supporting recent number one album 'I’m With You'.

Speaking about the two shows, Chili Peppers' frontman Anthony Keidis said: "Our philosophy is we’ll play any day, any time and we’re coming to do Knebworth, Sunderland and Dublin".

The Knebworth date will be the first huge no- festival show of its kind held at the park since Robbie Williams’ record-breaking three-night stint eight years ago.
