Reading and Leeds festival tickets on sale Monday

Tickets for this year's Reading and Leeds festival will go on general sale Monday (March 12).  

The Cure have been hotly tipped to headline this year's event.

The band, fronted by Robert Smith, are reported to be joining Kasabian and Foo Fighters at the event over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

Last year's festival saw Muse, My Chemical Romance, Pulp and The Strokes headline.

Fans will be able to buy tickets as soon as the line-up is announced at 7.15pm (GMT) on March 12. The festival takes place over the weekend of August 26-28.
