Green Day's 'American Musical' has received mixed reviews during his opening night in Los Angeles.
The show, based on the band's two albums American Idiot' and '21st Century Breakdown', opened in California's Ahmanson Theatre on Tuesday (13 March, 2012) night.
Reviewing the show, PerezHilton.com described the show as "disappointing" and "very one note".
While, Spin magazine said: "Musicals are inevitably kind of corny, but this one could have used at least a little more bite."
The musical will embark on a full UK tour next Autumn. Hits in the show include 'Burnout', 'Holiday' and 'Murder City' from Green Day's recent album '21st Century Breakdown'.
