Solo star to perform London date ahead of Radio One Hackney event

Tickets for Jack White's first UK performance as a solo artist are on sale now.

The reinvented rocker will perform at London's Hammersmith Apollo on 22 June, 2012 and this is his first UK performance as a solo musician.

The White Stripes star releases his debut solo album 'Blunderbuss' on 23 April, 2012. Gigwise had the chance to listen to the album earlier this week. Find out what we thought of it in our track-by track review of the record.

White this week revealed that he would only consider reforming The White Stripes if he found himself bankrupt.

He will also perform at Radio One's Hackney Weekend on 23-24 June, 2012.
