Back to doing what she does best, Madonna is causing controversy in the US, after her latest perfume advert was deemed too sexy for TV.

The video, which shows Madonna in black underwear while her track 'Girl Gone Wild' plays, needed to be digitally altered before US broadcaster ABC would air the clip.

Madonna's 'Girl Gone Wild' was deemed inappropriate for under-18s by YouTube earlier this month, and she also made headlines last weekend when she appeared to reference rave drug MDMA during an appearance at the Miami Ultra Festival.

ABC were forced to digitally enlarge Madonna's underwear to cover the singer's exposed flesh - including altering her bra size to cover her breasts and digitally lowering her corset to cover more of her bottom. A source told the New York Post: "ABC also wants to cut another suggestive scene where Madonna writhes around."

Madonna is set to knock Paul Weller from the top of the UK album chart with her new album, 'MDNA' this weekend. Watch Madonna's perfume commercial below.
