Rapper and singer Shifty Shellshock is said to have come out of his coma.
The Crazytown frontman, best known for his hit single 'Butterfly' and Paul Oakenfold collaboration 'Starry Eyed Surprise' is said to be 'speaking sporadically', reports US website TMZ.
The star, real name Seth Binzer, fell into a coma last Thursday (30 March, 2012), with no explanation given to the cause. Shellshock has a long standing problem with addiction and is due in court this month or a pre-trial hearing after he was arrested or drug posession on February 12th. He has featured on numerous US reality TV shows depicting his battle for sobriety.
Crazytown had planned to release a new album, having not released any new music since 2002. A snippet of new track 'Come Inside' leaked online in 2011, but there has since been no new details on the record.
