Bloc Party announce three UK summer shows - tickets

The recently reformed Bloc Party have announced three live UK shows in June 2012.

The band, who have been absent for two years as Kele Okereke pursued solo projects, will perform the gigs before embarking on a summer of festival appearances across Europe and America. The band will be performing tracks from their forthcoming, fourth album. The band last released a record, 'Intimacy', in 2008.

Kele told online fans this morning:“Hello internet, I know it’s been a long two and half years since bloc party last performed in the UK. Well it seems that wait is over, we are happy to announce a short run of intimate shows for our friends in the UK and our friends in the US. We will be playing choice cuts from our new record as well as some more familiar jams. We hope to see you soon.”
