Alexandra Burke hires security after death threats

X Factor winner Alexandra Burke was forced to hire a private security after receiving death threats online.

An unknown individual tweeted threats at the star, who today premiered her new single 'Let It Go', ahead of the launch of her new lip-gloss range at a London event. Threats posted included: "I'm coming, and I'll murder you!" and "I'm going to kill you tonight, gonna stab you".

The online threats forced Alexandra to hire private security for the launch event, which fortunately passed without incident at The Rose Club, London.

A fan previously threated to kill Alexandra Burke while she was eating in a restaurant with her family.
