Robin Gibb has woken from the coma he fell into last week.

The Bee Gees star was admitted to hospital last Friday (April 13) and his family, including brother Barry, have kept a vigil by his bedside ever since.

However, the 'Stayin' Alive' star has made a miraculous recovery and woke from the coma overnight.

Doug Wright, Gibbs spokesman, has said that he is nowable to nod and communicate with doctors and his family.

Gibb fell into the coma after contracting pneumonia in his battle against colon and liver cancer.
