The Flaming Lips Record Store Day release, which includes collaborations with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Ke$ha, can be heard online today (April 23).
'The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends' was released on 12" vinyl on Record Store Day on Saturday (April 21) and comprises a series of collaborations Wayne Coyne and co. have recorded in recent years. Most notable, perhaps, is the duet with Ke$ha. As you can hear below, it's pretty far removed from 'Tik Tok'.
Meanwhile, Chris Martin ditched the neon splattered arena-rock for a much more lo-fi collaboration with the band. Take a listen to 'I Don't Want You To Die' below.
The Flaming Lips hook ups with Nick Cave and Mastodon can also be streamed now.
