Recently reformed indie band Bloc Party are offering fans the chance to join them in a US recording studio as they finish their new album.
In a competition they are running on their Facebook page, the band will invite a fan to meet the band in a New York recording studio at the end of April 2012.
Bloc Party recently announced three UK dates in June this year, as the band make their return after two years apart as the band pursued solo projects. Speaking of the band's return, frontman Kele Okereke told fans: "I know it’s been a long two and half years since bloc party last performed in the UK. Well it seems that wait is over, we are happy to announce a short run of intimate shows for our friends in the UK and our friends in the US.
"We will be playing choice cuts from our new record as well as some more familiar jams. We hope to see you soon."
