The Vaccines have revealed that they plan to release their new album this Summer and that their producer has compared them to Paul McCartney.
Despite only releasing their debut in 2011, the 'Wrecking Bar' band are keen to ride their wave of momentum and have been hard at work on the follow up throughout this year. Speaking to the Daily Star about the studio sessions, lead singer Justin Young said:
“There’s a track called Bad Mood about me being moody. I started with the lyric: ‘I was at the bus stop combing my hair’ and thought it was the sh*ttest lyric ever."
Adding: “Then I played it to our producer Ethan Johns and he thought it was fun and weird, like a lyric Paul McCartney would write, so I stuck with it.”
The Vaccines previously confirmed that 'Bad Mood' would make the album alongside two other tracks already completed.
