The Voice has shown its grip on the UK Single and Album Charts today with a raft of new entries in the midweek update coming off the back of last weekends Battle Round stage of the show.

Show 'coaches' Jessie J and Danny O'Donghue have seen their material shoot up the charts with Jessie J's collaboration with David Guetta sitting at number five whilst The Script's single 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' is up to 23. There is good news for The Script in the album charts too with their album 'Script' up to number 14.

Elsewhere in the singles chart there is a host of Voice featured songs in todays update including The Stereophonics' 'Dakota' plus tunes by John Legend, U2, The Fray and Kings Of Leon.

However, both album and singles charts look like having new leaders this week and it's nothing to do with The Voice. Jack White's 'Blunderbuss' album is sitting at number one whilst Calvin Harris continues his Singles chart domination with his Ne-Yo collaboration 'Let Go' selling more than anyone else so far this week.

The full Official UK Singles and Albums Charts will be revealed by Reggie Yates on Radio 1 this Sunday, April 29.
