The Script's Danny O'Donoghue has defended his position on The Voice, saying he is the most organised of all the coaches and that he helps his acts the most.
Danny has been criticised by some viewers for lacking the fame or experience some of his fellow judges, such as Sir Tom Jones, boast. However, he is confident in his own ability to guide the reality TV acts through their experience.
"Some people might think I'm the underdog but the BBC have told me I'm the most organised of all the judges. When my contestants are done with me, they're going to be able to walk through the industry with their heads held high," he says in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.
Danny also went on to state that The Voice is a good thing for the music industry, stating his belief that his acts could '**** all over' most artists in the charts at the moment.
"I don't want to get into a war with anyone but there was a certain amount of musicality missing from the acts and judging of other TV talent shows. Most artists on The Voice **** all over the UK pop scene," he says.
Adding: "Seriously why are we watching R'n'B singers out of breath and miming on Saturday morning TV? It should give the whole industry a kick up the ass."
Danny previously claimed that The Voice was a great place for artists to get a second chance at musical success.
