Jack White's reign at the top of the US album charts is set to be cut short by blonde country and western star Carrie Underwood.
Underwood, winner of American Idol 2005 and who recently announced her first ever live UK show for June 2012, is on course to hit No.1 in America with her new album, 'Blown Away'. Jack White scored his first ever US No.1 recently with his debut solo album, 'Blunderbuss'.
Underwood's fourth album is set to sell 275,000 copies this week, with other new entries in the US Top Ten set to come from Norah Jones, and rapper B.O.B.
In the UK, Marina and The Diamonds is set to hit No.1 in the album charts, with FHM's hottest woman in the world, Tulisa, set to debut at No.1 in the singles chart.
