Coldplay will broadcast the first night of their UK tour live on Absolute Radio in the UK.
The band are conducting a massive world tour in support of their 'Mylo Xyloto' album and will perform at London's Emirates Stadium on June 1st. The show will be broadcast live to Absolute Radio listeners.
Geoff Lloyd will host the Coldplay Hometime Show Special with coverage starting at 5pm before Coldplay take to the stage at 9pm. Interviews with the band as well as classic Coldplay songs will be played in the build up to the live broadcast.
Earlier this week Coldplay performed a tribute version of The Beastie Boys 'Fight For Your Right' in homage of Adam 'MCA' Yauch who passed away on May 4th.
Coldplay Hometime Show Special is broadcast on Absolute Radio on Friday, June 1st.
