US pop-rockers Fun. have repeated their US chart success of smash hit single 'We Are Young' as they top the UK single's chart in this week's new countdown.
The three-piece hold off competition from Brit-boyband The Wanted, who have recently scored huge success in America, and their new single, 'Chasing The Sun' - which charts at No.2. Carly Rae Jepson remains at No.3 while Rita Ora and Alex Clare drop to No.4 and No.5 respectively. Paloma Faith scores the first Top Ten single of her career with comeback track 'Picking Up The Pieces', which is new at No.7.
Meanwhile, on the album chart, Emeli Sande climbs to the top spot with her debut, 'Our Version Of Events' in a relatively quiet week for new releases. US rocker Joe Bonamassa is new at No.2 with 'Driving Towards The Daylight' and John Meyer enters at No.4 with his new album, 'Born And Raised'.
Fun. are also celebrating a Top Ten album as their new record 'Some Nights' debuts at No.7 while Tom Jones and The Enemy enter at No.8 and No.9 with their new releases.
